Charlotte with a Rose

Thank you for sharing what inspires you all.  I used random.org and #43 Elena is my winner.  Please email me at sparklecreationsrubberstamps@live.com and will mail out Lantern Rin to you soon!

Before I get into my next stamp, I wanted to do some housekeeping and answer a few questions...
  1. For those who don't know how to use bare rubber stamps or EZ Mount, here's a video on YouTube that shows you how.
  2. I will be shipping worldwide, with first class and priority options.  Eventually, I hope to wholesale to save you international people on shipping costs.
  3. I will be announcing my Design Team on Friday.
  4. At this time, I will only be selling rubber stamps.  I would love to sell more product, but I don't think Brent will let me fill up the house with it, lol.  Maybe in the future...
This stamp was originally made with Mother's Day in mind...but I think it's very versatile.  I think it's great for birthdays, spring, and friendship cards.  She reminds me of a sweet little country girl out picking flowers.  Though I am allergic to pollen, I love daffodils.

Today I am giving away Charlotte with a Rose. Included with the Charlotte with a Rose stamp is 6 sheets of Basic Grey Porcelain paper, 20 mixed matching buttons, 3 feet of matching ribbon, 8 matching Prima flowers, and the card that I have created.

Paper: Basic Grey Porcelain
Stamps: Sparkle Creations, sentiment is Amuse
Pearls, Prima Flowers, PTI Buttons, Twine, Copics, and Crystal Stickles

You have until midnight tonight to tell me what your favorite flower is.  I will randomly choose a lucky winner! Good luck!

How It All Began

Thank you for all the guesses yesterday.  I used  Random.org and #40 Amy is my winner!  I will mail Swimming Lucy to you soon!

I will be selling bare deep etched red rubber stamps. I decided that it's just easier and gives you all more mounting options. I know that not everyone uses EZMount, so I figured those who use Tack n Peel would like this. And don't worry, for those who do use EZMount...I'm selling it in my store! :)

Today I thought I would share with you how this all began. I got my first job at 16 and I wrapped gifts at a department store. I think thats how I learned how to match patterns and colors together. :) I was one of the youngest employees that worked there, so I befriended the janitors, who were 'cool college boys.' I actually ended up taking one of them to my senior prom, lol.

Casey was always an eccentric guy and really believed in my art. He said to me, "Sparkle, one day you will become a designer...and I want you to call your line Sparkle Creations."

I went to art school my freshman year of college and gave up all hopes of making it in the world as an artist. I moved on to business and did a total 180. Today, I have a financial corporate job. I'm quiet in my office and I wear black suits everyday. But like my boss said...I have a very creative and colorful inside. :)

Brent has been asking me for years why I didn't want to do this sooner. The real answer...because I'm scared that this won't be fun anymore. I'm still scared of that, lol. But after thinking more about the future...escaping work layoffs...I want to be doing what I'm really passionate about. I won't be quitting my day job any time soon, but I do hope to do Sparkle Creations full time later down the road. That's my next big goal for me.

Today I am giving away Turntable Josh. Included with the Turntable Josh stamp is 6 sheets of Basic Grey Max and Whiskers paper, 20 mixed matching buttons, 3 feet of matching ribbon, 8 matching Prima flowers, and the card that I have created. I also used Unscripted Sketch #58 for this.

Paper: Basic Grey Max and Whiskers
Stamps: Amuse
Nestabilities, Copics, PTI Buttons, and BG Brads

You have until midnight tonight to tell me what your next big or important goal is.  It can be anything really, so don't feel like your small goals aren't worthy.  You'd never get to your big ones if you didn't make the small ones. :)  I will randomly choose a lucky winner! Good luck!
